Summer Camp

Summer camps table tennis camp at AKG has been an effective way to bond the trainees with the coaches. AKG has been a pioneering centre in India to conduct summer camps continuously as a record till date for the past 35 years. Trainees from all over India yarn to enroll in this camp and in fact feel highly honored when the club receives invite letter from the legendary coaches. Most of the top past and present national and international players have attended this camp.

Trainees are divided into groups accordingly to their age & levels, ranging from beginners who started out learning the basics to elite players who are train seriously and intensively in this Olympic sport of table tennis

They can literally live and breathe table tennis 5 hours a day in the morning and 5 hours in the evening when the camp year after year starts on May 1 and ends on May 20. Camp activities  includes one-on-one coaching, robot training, match practice, game tactics, circuit training and rigorous stroke play.  In addition, they have professional instructor team to offer a physical training. Its not only table tennis but the players are given mentoring workshops, yoga training sessions and brain games which are conducted by professionals.

There is also a gala outing which efficiently builds team relationships, coach bonding and of course loads and loads of fun and frolic
